5/3/25 - Derby Day 2025

It's been 48 years, Slew, since you stormed your way to your seventh straight victory with a win in the Kentucky Derby. Fighting your way to be in front the first time under the wire, you chose how you would run and the rest of the field stood no chance.

Slew, we were in awe of you on the track as you became the first horse to win the Triple Crown have never tasted defeat. We remained amazed of your accomplishments siring champions and leaving your mark all over the breed through different sires and through your amazing daughters.

But that day, with the roses draped over you, was so special. Today, in the 151st Kentucky Derby, the gate will be filled with many of your descendants. We wish them luck as they vie for that unmatched blanket of roses.
