2/15/25 - Happy Birthday, Seattle Slew

Fifty-one years ago — February 15, 1974 — was a special day in the Bluegrass. That day, you arrived, the first foal out of My Charmer, a dark bay or brown colt.

When you were a yearling, I named you Seattle Slew.

With your heart and speed, you fulfilled your destiny becoming the first undefeated Triple Crown winner.

Your legacy lives on in the Thoroughbred world.

We thank God everyday for you. You were a gift from heaven.

We've sent you your roses, and we are thinking of all the wonderful memories.

You are always in our hearts and are remembered always.
